YouTube-DL-PyTK (formerly known as YouTube-DL-GTK) is just a graphical launcher for yt-dlp. It supports 2D and 3D clipping, scaling and transparent overlay of video, png graphics and text. Animation and actions can also be controlled through native scripting and an embedded Tcl and/or Python interpreter. Gv4l is a Gui v4l (Video4Linux) frontend of transcode used to watch and/or record from a v4l-capable device. It can record in both encoded format, such as DivX, or in raw format.

Consistent Depth is a research project developed by Facebook Research that presents an algorithm for reconstructing dense and geometrically consistent depth information for all pixels in a monocular video. The system builds upon traditional structure-from-motion (SfM) techniques to provide geometric constraints while integrating a convolutional neural network trained for single-image depth estimation. During inference, the model fine-tunes itself to align with the geometric constraints of a specific input video, ensuring stable and realistic depth maps even in less-constrained regions. This approach achieves improved geometric consistency and visual stability compared to prior monocular reconstruction methods. The project can process challenging hand-held video footage, including those with moderate dynamic motion, making it practical for real-world usage.

ffhevc is a TUI (Terminal User Interface) Bash shell program script written for the GNU/Linux and BSD operating systems for encoding video files to the H.265/HEVC video format using FFmpeg and the libx265 library. Targeted primarily at encoding of full-length feature films and film series but it can be used for other content as well.

Traffic Sucks. CamGet is a bash script to download images from area traffic camera websites (such as http://www.dpwt.com). This script also adds timestamps to each image, converts image to desired format, and attempts to 'normalize' each image.

LEG is the Linux Encoder Gui. It exist in order to make life easier for users to do file conversions, whether its converting plain avi to mpeg or performing dvd rips and converting to different media types like IPODs, SmartPhones, IPAQs, etc.

Automate the download of entire Twitch.tv channels with its metadata. Save each Twitch video into its own folder, with date and time values, video ID, stream metadata, frame screenshot, .ts parts list and sha256 hash.
